Investigating and Implementing Input Shaping in 3D Printing

Abstract
Input shaping is a method used in control systems to eliminate vibrations in mechanical systems. This bachelor's thesis investigates how input shaping works in the context of 3D printing. A single-axis system for testing input shaping is designed, and an input shaping algorithm is developed and tested on the designed real system.
